Need a trap for your community cat’s spay or neuter appointment? We offer humane cat trap rentals for cats coming to our clinic.
- Reserve an appointment first. A surgical appointment and the required appointment deposit must be in place before renting a trap.
- Rental fee: $5 per trap, per appointment. If you keep the trap for another scheduled appointment, an additional $5 rental fee applies.
- Pickup: We recommend picking up your trap one week before your scheduled surgical appointment to allow plenty of time for trap training.
- On surgery day: Bring the cat to the clinic in the trap. If you have no additional trapping appointments scheduled, bring a secure, hard plastic cat carrier so we can transfer the cat after recovery and keep the trap at the clinic.
- Care and return: Please return traps in good condition. A $175 replacement fee applies to traps that are lost, stolen, or damaged.
